This Volunteer Rainscaping Training will prepare you to complete site assessments for homeowners and provide recommendations for rainscaping practices. You must attend both parts of this training while each covers different topics relevant to your training.

In part 1 (location: DeGraaf Nature Center), we'll learn about rainscaping practices, the site assessment process and how to write a summary report.

In part 2 (location TBD), we'll practice what we learned by conducting a mock site visit at a home or small business in the Holland area.

After training is completed, volunteers will be assigned to do assessments as homeowners request them. This program is conducted by ODC with support from Holland BPW and Hope College. For more detailed information, click here.
